In simple terms, Ayurveda means Knowledge of Life. It is India’s oldest science based on the fact that all diseases are caused by an imbalance or stress. It is a Sanskrit word derived from two roots: Ayur, which means life, and Veda, which means knowledge. Ayurveda is right because knowledge arranged in a logical manner becomes science thus Ayurveda becomes the Science of Life.
